General Information about
Webster String Instruments

All Webster Harps are fitted with Loveland sharpening levers on each string. Truitt levers are available at extra cost of $300 and Camac levers are $200. For superior tone, a combination of nylon, gut, and steelwound strings are used. Webster Harps have a sound chamber constructed of a 5-ply hardwood shell, which produces full tones. The soundboard is laminated spruce and tapers from a delicately thin shell in the upper octaves to 3/8" in the bass octaves in order to optimize tonal response. The tapered maple string rib is fitted with nylon eyelets to protect the strings from wear. The neck of the harp is constructed of high-strength maple laminate and is radiused to the body making it self-adjusting. The column and base are made of the finest hardwoods -- your choice of walnut, cherry, maple or mahogany. An option of inlaid binding bordering the soundboard is offered at $50.00. The finish is polyurethane and is durable and waterproof.

To order a harp, a $300.00 deposit is required. The balance is due within 30 days of the completion of the harp.
